Brigadoon Hotel
Like Brigadoon itself, this is a fantasy property and one that is open and welcoming guests from across the world.
We have developed this site to showcase our latest website theme which has been designed specifically for the single site self catering, B&B or Guest House in mind. This website layout can outline your accommodation and services and highlight the benefits of your destination too.
This is our digital training area for our hospitality and tourism clients across Scotland. This site has a serious role to play in suggesting ways that accommodation and hospitality providers can improve their digital presence and critically move to helping your guests to Book Scotland Direct but in the meantime enjoy the fantasy.
It is designed to show an example of what a micro website for the small accommodation provider might include and how the content could be structured and planned out.
The Cottage at Brigadoon is a single level cottage located on the edge of our romantic and historic forest with old Celtic charm that has been lovingly renovated and comfortably furnished in a more contemporary Celtic style to accommodate up to six guests comfortably.
Open plan living space with traditional oak flooring and dressed with commissioned Highland rugs.
The seating area is a mix of old but supremely comfortable leather settees and armchairs with tow sympathetic rocking chairs.
The Brigadoon does not have television but offers high speed broadband and a state of the art music streaming system.
The traditional and original fireplace and hearth are still in place and an axe and woodpile are fully stocked in the adjacent cabin
Bedroom One is the master room has a king-size bed and en-suite with his and hers steel baths and sinks.
Bedroom Two is set up with two large twin beds and this can become a double as required it also has an en suite with bath
Quality bed linen and towels are included as standard as are cosy robes and slippers
Welcome pack featuring a hamper brimmed full of Scottish produce
The kitchen is fully equipped with double oven and separate grill and (god forbid) microwave

Of all of the newest developments our digital Concierge Plus is our favourite due to the fact that it adds such a unique feature to your guests' experience. With a few ticks of some boxes you will have a dozen of your favourite local recommendations automatically featured on your site. Select from a range of restaurants, bars and attractions that you would recommend to your guests.
They can then use this in planning their trip and it may event be enough to secure that booking; Once they arrive they can then use the mobile version as a digital brochure allowing them to use the Google Maps to find direction or visit the websites for tickets or information.
We think it's great added value for your guest and this site comes with a dozen recommendations as standard but this can be upgraded at an affordable cost when you need to feature more of your local partners.

Your self catering site will also feature a Google Map which will allow your guests to locate your property. The Cottage at Brigadoon can exist anywhere we wish it to be - you may prefer to be more accurate with your location!
This site includes a built in contact form for your customers to get in touch. It's a simple function and when you are ready you can scale up to an email marketing package such as Constant Contact which will gather data and allow you to create your own email marketing campaigns.
Data collection is so important in combatting the Online Travel Agents and we can help you understand how best you can gather that information on your site, social media and guest check in.
